P.K.

P.K. also known as Preachers Kid is from Staten Island, New York. He is the son of Bishop Dr. Joseph L. Ricks. P.K. is married and has 3 children. He wasn't always proclaiming the good news. As a youth he was your typical preachers kid growing up in rebellion desiring the ways of the world. He would host parties for various people in the secular scene. Having performers such as Big Pun, Wu Tang, Fat Joe, Hot 97's own DJ Enuff and Bobby Konders and Jabba. He then joined a rap group called Storm Camp. His groups video was played on BET. He also wrote a promotional song for Hot 97's own Fat Man Scoop which played approximately a year. As his secular career was rising the Lord called out to P.K. and said "Either you live for me or I will dead you off" P.K. taking heed to the voice of God put down his mic and picked up his bible. The Lord seeing his faithfulness gave him back his mic but with a new voice. The voice of one crying in the wilderness. He has
patiently waited a long time to release his album but he believes it is what the body of christ needs, it is soul food. "EYES HAVE NOT SEEN, EARS HAVE NOT HEARD"
